Lefever Side-by-Side Double Barrel Shotgun, #175336, 12 ga., blued 28'' barrels with bead front sight on full-length matted top rib choked F/IC and marked ''Lefever Nitro Special'' on right and ''Lefever Arms Co., Ithaca, N.Y.'' on left; steel receiver with sliding safety, auto ejectors, and water birds lightly engraved on both sides; loop triggerguard; varnished walnut forend checkered in a diamond pattern and pistol-grip buttstock checkered at wrist with grooved black hard rubber buttplate. Condition is good, the barrels retaining a smooth blue-brown patina; the receiver gunmetal gray. Stocks are smooth with worn checkering and a poorly-repaired break at wrist.
